Hi, Chloe and I have been in discussion about collaborating on a piece together and were wondering if anyone else would be interested. Rather than working individually and coming together in the form of a book or exhibition, we want to work on a film (for example, we are both keen on experimenting with different media and forms) and seeing where this leads. So in the instance of a film it would be a shared concept then we each could take turns shooting and editing etc so it is one piece made collectively. This is quite broad but I don't think there is anyone else talking about collaborating in this way. From the work we produce we could then decide where to take it, the collaboration on the piece would be the main focus but from this we could see what fits and either produce a publication, exhibition etc. We haven't made any decisions on what the concept of the piece would be as this would obviously have to be a joint decision and so would need to form the group first. If this sounds interesting maybe we could meet tomorrow after contextual?
